In The Museum

In the museum, they wander through the galleries

Perusing the paintings, remarking on the sculptures

Contemplating Renaissance and Modern and in-between

Noticing with pleasure all there is to be seen.

In the museum, they wander through the galleries

Admiring the prints and the jewelry and ball gowns

Looking at the sweet embroideries, neatly done

Taking in the pictures at an exhibition.

Museums make me smile for a while, forget the strife

This is fantastic art, off the chart, brilliant still life!

Museums have it all, wall to wall.

How ‘bout those Old Dutch!

So realistic, I eat it up. But do not touch!

I like the Rembrandt portraiture

I prefer John Singer Sargent, that’s for sure.

John Copley painted Paul Revere

Vincent Van Gogh cut off his ear!

You can use the audio tours to learn a lot.

It can help you give some diff’rent art a shot.

Let’s go try to give some diff’rent art a shot!
